Lyft used to display the total price of the fare until they made a change in the app so that drivers can see exactly how much they are taking home after fees.

For example: You used to be able to see a $10.00 fare and would have to calculate your take home pay, but now you may see your take home pay is actually $7.50. This makes it more clear for the drivers to understand their take home pay.

Uber has done this long ago, and Lyft is now following the path.

I honestly like it better like this, and I still look through to see what percentage of the fare is taken by Uber/Lyft to understand if there is a difference being pocketed by either company.

Thanks for reading/watching!
